Plot
This story takes place in a colorful town called Arakonam where two young cricket teams led by charismatic leaders Ranjith and Rajesh intersected their lives together.
Corruption, discrimination, misuse of power are some of the issues that “Blue Star” boldly addresses in its narrative. These themes have been subtly integrated into “Blue Star”, a tamil screenplay written by Tamil Prabha.
Visuals and Music
The picture-taking prowess of Thamizh A. Azhagan captures every essence and beauty of Arakonam thereby presenting something delightful to see especially for viewers. Thus Selva’s editing brought about seamlessness in the storyline ensuring every frame carries its weight towards creating a gripping experience overall.
The musical genius played by Govind Vasantha coupled with soul-touching lyrics from Uma Devi and Arivu heightens the emotional quotient leaving an indelible image in minds of viewers alike.
Performances
A very good turn by Ashok Selvan who personifies Ranjith like a spirited, single-minded commander in a cricket team. Shanthanu Bhagyaraj lifts the character of Rajesh which appears slightly in one-dimensional character styled by Ranjith.
Dhivya Dhuraisamy and Keerthi Pandian are equally able actors that effortlessly portray headstrong people operating in the flashpoint of a drama being played out as it unfurls.
Bagavathi Perumal, Kumaravel and Lizzie Antony, also featuring in supporting roles, played their parts well and had their share to story from gripping till the end.
The all-star group played a symphony of emotions that resonated with viewers, so every characters’ journey felt like an integral part of the larger story.
Lemon Leaf Creation Pvt Ltd and Neelam Productions deserve a pat on their backs! for bringing the “Blue Star” to life while the trio Pa Ranjith, G Soundarya, and R Ganesh Murthy should be lauded for their efforts, giving it a cinematic touch. Dhinakaran Sivalingam is a great director from his vision, he does not like movie to be entertainment it was for something think added to it.
