Review
Dada is a film about an unexpected pregnancy. Ganesh K Babu marks his debut as a director with this film, and the story might not be novel but the treatment is soulful and fun.
The director has given a realistic touch with little things to the scene of the face-off between the lead characters in the film. “It’s already been toned.” 3 a.m.”The speaker’s voice is shaky with weariness since she has cried for hours, and the hero is too angry to listen to her. The scene becomes real and visceral to the viewer.
The film’s handling of the topic of unplanned pregnancy is refreshing as well. The director has dealt with the subject in a realistic manner that appeals to the audience. The reader sees how the characters cope with the situation in a realistic, heartfelt way and that helps make the story more poignant.
