Review
Kaatera is an interesting get together from Darshan and Tharun post their successful stint in Roberrt. What’s more, Radhana Ram- the daughter of Sandalwood Queen Malashree debuts as lead actress with this release.
This movie was first announced on February 16th 2023 in the event of Darshan’s birthday celebration with huge expectation. In the lead up of its theatrical release date for November 29th (with a rather intriguing making video), an official trailer was added December 12th to heighten the anticipation.
Plot
Kaatera offers an absorbing narrative embedded in the backdrop of 1970s Hampi. “Kaatera” is not only an action-filled thrill but a visceral portrayal of the undercurrents in society of that period of turmoil!
Direction
The Director, Tharun Kishore Sudhir applies his unique brilliance to Kaatera and the film is grand, bordering on emotions. His direction keeps the fight scenes meaningful, the tearful moments tearful enough, and everything moving along briskly.
