Plot
The story is about Kalki, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu who has been called awake by Ashwatthama in order to endanger the humankind with Kaali a super-powerful enemy of God. A combination of actors and actresses representing different film industries offers additional depth and renders this project one of the most anticipated ones by the movie lovers.
Path to silver screen has never been smooth in case of journey to silver screen by Kalki 2898 AD. It was initially announced during Vyjayanthi Movies 50 th anniversary in February 2020 however filming began in July 2021 at futuristic set backdrop Ramoji Film Joharpur city, Hyderabad.
Review
The film has a disgustingly high budget of 600 crore Rs aptly named Kalki 2898 AD, the movie is now one of the most expensive Indian movies ever made. The music for the same is composed by Santhosh Narayanan who is known to exercise his musical talent; Djordje Stojiljkovic was in charge of cinematography and Nitin Zihani Choudhary gave a production design.
It includes an impressive cast with Deepika Padukone marking her debut in Telugu movies as lead character and Amitabh Bachchan occupying a key role and latter Disha Patani forms a cast that has already been studded with stars.
The pre-production of “Kalki 2898 AD” needed the best technology and a futuristic development of vehicles with the help of business tycoon Anand Mahindra. To increase the visual appeal an elaborate futuristic set was constructed in Hyderabad; the first choice of music composition was A. R. Rahman though the role was finally handed over to Santhosh Narayanan.
Moreover, schedule breaks in shooting also gave the chance to work carefully on the gadgets and props applied in this sci-fi masterpiece; “Kalki 2898 AD” is going to blow a memorable movie sensation to the viewer communities across the globe!

The movie Kalki 2898 AD was a blockbuster. The first day had collected 115 crore rupees inside India and 65 crore rupees outside India giving the overall global collection of 180 crore rupees around. There is a report of the movie gathering an amount of 191.5 crores globally on the first day.
Within two days, 2898 AD Kalki posted about 298.5 crores around the world across languages. It is in memory of this that the film made a poster that was released on platform X noting that a staggering 298.5 crore had been raked in worldwide in just two days.
