Story
The adorable habit of the two lovers is to ensure that their smartphones are their personal diaries where they keep all their most well-guarded secrets. Their dependence on their phones is however put to a test when they encounter a problem that is unimaginable.
Venu Shastri who is the father of Nikita played by Satyaraj, learns about their relation and he proposes to bring Pradeep to stay in their house as a guest. He gives a condition to their union as he wants them to both exchange their phones, one day. Its unanticipated twist frightens them, nevertheless, they finally take the challenge of defending their love.
There is an interesting twist in the story when the phones change owners. The film fetches the transitions in their lives ideally due to this exchange of phones. The reader can view their weak sides and things they hid to each other. It is deeply emotional, yet there are some comic situations that make the viewer tune in to the end.

Various skills of Pradeep Ranganathan are evident in the film, as the director and writer did not only write the film but acted as the protagonist, portraying a sympathetic and agreeable character. The character he is acting, the neighbor boy with all his rants, dialogues and emotional scenes is totally real and touches the audience.
The female leading character Nikita portrayed by Ivana brings certain elegance and charm to the movie with her gorgeous looks and wonderful acting ability. Her depiction of Nikita is touching and at the same time believable such that the viewers are left impressed by her character.
The acts that support the lead characters are a powerful group of actors that features Yogi Babu who delivers a royal act that gives substance to the plot. Raveena as the character of his would-be wife, delivers a commendable performance, which goes very well with the character of Yogi Babu.
The other characters portrayed by Radhika Sarath Kumar and Satyaraj also do not fail to impress and help in the awesome performance of this film. The technicalities of the movie including editing, cinematography along with music, contribute a significant part in the success of the movie.
Cinematography is used to capture modern picture of the movie whereas editing brings out the insane and creative side of the narration. The music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is an undoubted asset to the movie and more precisely to his sound track which adds to the emotional value of the movie.
The Telugu conversations are another highlight which makes the story more real and impressive. All of this together makes it certain that “Love Today” will be an entertaining and light-hearted experience by both Tamil and Telugu-speaking audiences.
