Story
“Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty” presents Anvitha Shetty’s atypical desire to undergo motherhood without the sanction of marriage and its stereotypical strings. In order to achieve her quest, she decides to get stand-up comedian Sidhu Polishetty (played by Naveen Polishetty the jack of all trades), who would be her routel to a unique way of becoming a parent.
But Sidhu is ignorant of Anvitha’s real intensions and ends up falling madly in love with her, before their real intensions are exposed and puts him in a serious moral dilemma.
The movie raises the question: Will Sidhu be able to conjure enough heart to back Anvitha’s aadventure and make her lifetime ambition of being a mother come true? And all what has Anvitha to do with this extra-ordinary and life-changing decision?
Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty Review
Mahesh Babu P aptly translate those answers into an engaging narrative with “Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty”. It makes for an awesome watch. Anushka Shetty’s rocking comeback as Anvitha Ravali Shetty as someone who is focused and is daring.
But at the same time she is struggling with the traditional marriage that comes with being a married-off woman is a character who stands as a representation of how women can also take bold yet practical decisions.
Anushka on screen is mesmerising and eyes and hearts both are stuck. Naveen Polishetty delivers another scintillating performance and the role is something of a dream for him.
His wit and sense of humor are genuinely hilarious, who immediately capture our heart to the screen and, he can also act (and well!).
His performance in emotional scenes, done with such grace that he (as a character) is carried so far into our hearts. It’s borderline impossible to not feel him.
