Story
Akshay Kumar is in the limelight as the main protagonist Jaswant Singh Gill of IIT Dhanbad; his heroic attempt resulted in the salvaging of 65 miners involved in the Raniganj Coalfields mishap. Parineeti Chopra essentializes Nirdosh Kaur Gill (wife of Jaswant). There is depth and emotional heft that she brings to this amazing story.
The main filming of the Mission Raniganj started in July 2022, which is a significant milestone in the process of its creation. Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra were actively involved in the making of the film based on the intriguing story of Akshay Kumar coupled with an ensemble cast that came later in the summer to shoot the film.
