Story
Mancherial is a beautiful town where a small group of best friends were born: Isaac, Basha, RGV, Satthi and Maidaku. They are a lively group of youths who live in a colliery town, famous for its coal mines and lack of options in life.
Stuck in what appears to be an abyss of lack of education, goals, and future prospects, they long for something greater. To Samarpan (Isaac’s father) it is more than just a job for Isaac, it is the key to the start of a journey that will impact the future.
And it’s a beacon of hope, which might help to free Isaac and their family from the constraints of their colliery village. Samarpan is convinced that Isaac can discover a purpose and direction in his life, and begin building a life of meaning and satisfaction.
As their stories unfold, we see the outrageous courage that’s drilling deep into their hopes, dreams and determination to live a life planted in the shadow of a very limited future.
The film is a bittersweet meditation on the power of the human mind to overcome its own limitations, and the outsized influence of love and fate on the shape of our lives.
